General Information:

Camping is available with fire pits, firewood, tables, electrical hookups, showers, washrooms, and coin-laundry facilities. Family cabins and bunkhouses may be available (please book ahead). See the registration form for specific rates, based on the size of your group, length of stay, and meal choices. The most economical and spiritually-rewarding family vacation ever!

 

To promote family connection and relationship building, all campers will be assigned at least one time to assist with “gratis” duties during the camp week. If you have preferences for these duties, please indicate these at the bottom of your registration form and we will attempt to accommodate your choices. We also request that each family dine together at all meals and tickets/bracelets will be given and checked at each meal.

 

Arrival/Departure:

The sign-in time for family camp begins at 2:00 PM on Sunday, July 12, and departure is recommended for 12:00 PM on Saturday, July 18. Please do your part to assist in camp clean-up prior to your departure. NOTE: KVCC Annual General Meeting will be July 18 at 1 PM.

 

Registration Information:

Registrations will be accepted by mail, by phone, by fax, or scanned/emailed. Please ensure that the forms are fully completed and signed. (Registration forms are available at the camp on registration day as well.)

There are usually two chapel/gathering times a day, with activities offered in the afternoons. Activities may include archery, swimming, games, sports, campfires, canoeing, hikes, wall-climbing, zip line, crafts., etc.

 

A small canteen is open at various times at each camp and volunteers are often welcomed to assist in this area. A qualified first aid attendant is on the grounds at all times. Each camp has a Camp Director and a Sports Director.
